Mr. Jimmy Rembert Ivey, age 72, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at McLeod Medical Center in Florence, SC. Mr. Ivey was born August 3, 1949 in Robeson County, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Casper Ivey and Gladys Scott Ivey, and his wife, Geraldine Walters Ivey.

He is survived by one son, Scott Ivey (Tara) of Fairmont, NC; one daughter, Kim Mitchell (Chris) Fairmont, NC; and three grandchildren: Nicholas Mitchell, Brooke Smith, and Brayden Ivey.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Baltimore Baptist Church in Fairmont, NC. Following the visitation, a f uneral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tim Tyner officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, NC.
