Mr. Jimmy Floyd, age 77, of Fairmont, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Funeral services will be held Sunday January 22, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday January 21, 2017 from 6:00PM-8:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Mr. Floyd was born March 20, 1939 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his parents Otis Floyd and Lannie Bass Floyd; one brother, Fuller Prevatte Jr.; and one sister, Rachel Prevatte Lucas.

He is survived by his wife Judy Caulder Floyd of the home; two sons, Wesley Floyd (Beth) of Lumberton, and Glenn Floyd of Fairmont; one daughter, Amanda Floyd (Sam) of Fairmont; three brothers, Preston Floyd of Fair Bluff, Allen Prevatte and Kenneth Prevatte, both of Wilmington; two sisters, Barbara Katlen and Betty Greer both of Wilmington; five grandchildren, Maria, Brody, Isabel, Ivey, and Randy; several nieces and nephews.
