Jimma Lee Hunt, age 70, of Fairmont, NC passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at UNC Health Southeastern.

He was born August 13, 1955 in Robeson County to the late James Hunt and the late Ester Blue Hunt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lesley Thomas Hunt and Ila Hunt; his maternal grandparents, Levander Blue and Anna Blue; a nephew, Lesley Lynn McMillian.

He leaves to cherish his memories a sister, Judy Scott and a special brother-in-law, William Scott who took care of him; two brothers, Lesley Hunt (Bonita) of Alabama and Tommy Ransom (Brenda) of Shannon; his nephews, Ryan and Eric Hunt, and Matthew Peck and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. The funeral will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow in Fairpoint Baptist Church Cemetery.
