Mrs. Jewel Opal Nealy Reeves, 84, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on August 5, 1937 to the late Lonnie Lee Nealy and the late Pearl Mears Nealy.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ray Reeves; a son, Kevin Earl Reeves; her granddaughter, Dana Reeves; and three brothers: Kelly Nealy, Ronald Nealy, and Earl Nealy.

She is survived by a son, David Ray Reeves of Lumberton, NC; two daughters-in-law, Donna Canady and Angela Reeves, both of Lumberton, NC; a great-granddaughter, Hailey West; and a sister, Sue Britt of Lumberton, NC.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, February 27, 2022, from 1:30-2:30 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM in the chapel with Rev. Michael Bowen and Randy Graham officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
