Jessie Mae "Macie" Long Hinson, age 95, of Lumberton, NC, died on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Harborview in Lumberton.

Jessie was born in Columbus County, NC on August 16, 1930 to the late Jesse James Long and Eula Grace Prevatte.  She was the wife of the late Rev. Ernest Hinson and was a founding member of Missionary Holiness Church in 1956. She was the last original member of the church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Hinson.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Jackie McAllister (Jimmie) of Valrico, FL and Ernie C. Hinson (Sharon) of Lumberton, NC; four grandchildren, Dawn, Amanda, Natisha, James and Craig (Robin) and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 Fayetteville Rd. Lumberton, NC. The service will be officiated by Rev. Johnny Walters. A time for visitation will take place following the service at the cemetery.
