Jessie Cox Hardin, age 89, of Lumberton, NC went home to be with the Lord at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones, on Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was born in Robeson County, NC on December 30, 1924 to the late Wesley Cox and the late Novella Britt Cox. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Hardin and two brothers, Stentson Cox and Alton Cox. She is survived by her son, Dickie Hardin and daughter-in-law, Peggy; her grandson, Ricky Hardin and fiancé, Lorie Blackwell; her granddaughter, Jessica Zollmann and husband, Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Brennen, Hannah and Ethan and two sisters, Bernice Barnes and Aileen Britt. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:00AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 Fayetteville Road, Lumberton with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.
