Jessie Lee Hammonds, 86, of 347 Parrot Drive, died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Southeastern Regional Medical
Center. She was born to the late James Clifford Sealey and Strowdy Chavis on May 20, 1921 in Robeson County.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, James Lawrence Sealey, Earl Clifford Sealey and Johnny Sealey;
and sisters, Anisae Hunt, Irene Mae Sealey, Annie Lois Sealey and Elcie Mae Sealey.
She is survived by her son, Jospeh Hunt, Jr. and wife, Ella of Wadesboro; 2 daughters, Isabel Dale Hunt Locklear of
Lumberton and Barbara Hammonds Locklear and husband, Truman of Lumberton; 3 brothers, William P. Sealey and
wife, Toddy of Rowland, Jimmy Sealey of Charlotte and Levon Sealey of Rowland; 6 sisters, Alean Hunt of Rowland,
Lettie Mae Jacobs of Rowland, Betty Sealey of Rowland, Nancy Louise Hunt of Charlotte, Janice Stylian of Davidson,
NC and Janie Chavis of New York; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and 2 step grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at McDonald Pentecostal Holiness Church at 3:00 p.m.
with the Rev. Smith Locklear, Rev. Jeffery Locklear and Rev. Bruce Ransom officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
