Jessie Marlene Walters Bass age 84, of Pinehurst, formerly of Fairmont passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at First Health Hospice Center in Pinehurst.

Funeral services will be held Thursday December 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Mausoleum in Lumberton with Rev. Jackie Spiller officiating.

Entombment will follow in Gardens of Faith Mausoleum.

She was born October 29, 1931 in Robeson County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Walters and Clara Stone Walters.

She is survived by two sons, Deryl Bass (Carla) of Winterville NC and Ronald Bass (Cindy) of Haw River NC; two brothers, Rendal Walters of Myrtle Beach SC and J.E. Walters (Sue) of Ocean Isle, NC; one sister, Iris Bland of Pinehurst, NC; four grandchildren, Chris Bass, Mike Bass, Kelli Bass, and Erica Bass.
