Jerry Mac Recher, 62, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County on December 13, 1953.

He is survived by his wife Mary Carol Recher of the home; two sisters: Patricia Bankhead and Alma Barnes; one son, Mickey Britt and wife Melanie; four grandchildren: Josh Britt & wife Ashley, Mary K. Britt, Austin Britt, and Allie Britt & husband Tyler; nine great-grandchildren: Peyton, Katelyn, Dylan, Anita, Jaiden, Gage, Logan, Dawson, Weylynn, and one on the way; special friends: Tony & Cynthia Hayes, Kelly Lamberton, and the Spartan Nash Family; special sisters-in-law: Dale, Kay, and Donna; a brother-in-law, Robert and wife Ann; and a host of special friends & family.

A time of visitation will take place prior to the service on Sunday, September 11, 2016, from 1:00-2:30 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.

Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Malcolm McLean officiating.
