Mr. Jerry Wayne Locklear passed away, Saturday, June 27, 2026. He was born in Robeson County on April 17, 1961, to the late Brock and Batrice Locklear.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Sylvester Oxendine, Blondie Junior Locklear "Buddy", and Sonny Locklear; and his sister, Barbara Jane Jones.

Jerry Wayne will always be remembered as a hard worker. In his spare time, Jerry Wayne loved to ride his bicycle. He enjoyed helping people, especially elderly people.

He is survived by his brothers, Blair Locklear of Lumberton, NC, and Willie Howard Locklear of Lumberton, NC; his sisters Ethel Locklear Clark (Willie Ray) of Lumberton, NC, and Shirley Locklear Rogers of Lumberton NC, his brother-in-law William A. Rogers.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc. 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
