Mr. Jerry Herschel Jolly, age 78, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Dillon, SC on December 19, 1947 to the late James L. & Christine W. Jolly. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having honorably served his country for many years until retirement.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Bennett Jolly, and a brother, Glenn Jolly.

He is survived by his daughters, Jerrie Collins (Tim) and Cindy Jolly, both of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren: Amanda Locklear (Nat), David Coupel (Caitlyn), Alexandria Collins, James Tanner Collins, Whitney Christian, and Taylor Britt; 9 great-grandchildren; his brother, Jay Jolly (Martha) of Lumberton, NC; his sisters, Debbie Hodge of Lumberton, NC and Vickie Turner (Wayne) of Fairmont, NC; and a special friend, Debbie Adams of Lumberton, NC.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at North Lumberton Baptist Church, 1901 Carthage Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Johnny Ivey officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
