Jerry S. Harden, Sr., age 62, of Fairmont, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. He was born in Robeson County on May 17, 1948 to the late Juneious S. Harden and Myrtle H. Harden.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Jo Ann Higley.

Mr. Harden is survived by his wife, Jean Harden, of the home; a son, Jerry S. Harden, Jr. of Shallotte, NC; a daughter, Tonya L. Zitvogel of Bridgeville, DE; one sister, Sharon Caulder of Lumberton and seven grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Gary Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday evening, April 16, 2011 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton and other times at the home at 417 Leggett Road, Fairmont.
