Jeral Dean Prevatte, age 60, of Lumberton, NC died on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  She was born on January 8, 1957 to the late Willie James Miller and the late Myrtle Ruth Britt Miller.  She worked in the restaurant business as a cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Guy Prevatte; and brothers, Harvey Miller, Howard Miller, Buddy Miller, and Ray Miller.

Mrs. Prevatte is survived by her children, Katrina Suggs (Greg McKenzie) of Fairmont, David Suggs, Jr. of Lumberton, and Christopher Prevatte (Andrea) of Lumberton; brothers, Robert Miller (Diane) of Lumberton and Eugene Miller (Angel) of GA; sisters, Patricia Watford (Billy), Gail Bennett, Jeanette Strickland (Click), Zelda Jacobs (Michael) all of Lumberton, and Barbara Watford (Junior) of Lamar, SC; and three grandchildren, Danasia Kay McKenzie, Gregory Paul McKenzie, and Philip Dean McKenzie.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 17, at 1:00 PM at New Hollywood Cemetery with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.  A time for visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
