Jennifer Irene Smith, age 60, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on September 22, 1964 to Richard Allen McFarlan and Jaquetta Doremus McFarlan.

Jennifer will always be remembered as being the life of the party. She worked 20 years in the gaming industry and became a casino pit boss. Her career in this industry gave her a diverse and enriching life experience. Jennifer was also an EMT for 20 years and will forever be known as a Jersey Girl.

In addition to her parents Jennifer was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Aaron Smith.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Billy Smith of Waynesboro, GA; her son, Payton Smith and his fiancée Megan Bailey of Port Charlotte, FL; her brothers, Brian McFarlan (Amy) of New Jersey and Rick McFarlan of Ohio; her sister, Wendy McFarlan of Mayesville, NC; two nieces, two nephews, one great-niece and one great-nephew, and many other extended relatives and loved ones who will miss her dearly.
