Jennifer Sanders, age 46 of Athens, GA and formerly of Fairmont passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center in Georgia. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 4:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel. Burial will follow in The Chavis Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday March 20, 2015 from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Sanders and Johnnie Chavis Sanders; and a brother, Timmy Sanders. She is survived by one son, Johnny Woods Jr. of Athens GA; one daughter, Schawanna Ramone Woods of Atlanta, GA; six brothers, Jimmy Sanders and Alex Sanders both of Lumberton, NC, Terry Sanders, Homer Sanders, Lyn Dale Sanders, and Matthew Sanders all of Fairmont, NC; three sisters, Mary L. Helms of Athens, GA, Gail Garcia and Schawanna Sanders, both of Fairmont, NC; special friend Shirley Ann Gresham, of Athens, GA, Best friend Diane Johnson of Conyers, GA; one grandchild Ashton Braveheart Woods, and a host of nieces and nephews.
