Mrs. Jennifer Ann Phillips, age 36, of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham. She was born on September 11, 1982 in Robeson County. She was a carpenter and co-owner of J.J. Handyman Services.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William A. and Annie Ruth Parker, and her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Burr.

She is survived by her father, Bill Parker (Renee); her mother, Salena Burr; her husband, James "J.R." Phillips; one son, Douglas Cottrell; two daughters: Alyssa Cottrell and Emily Cottrell; her maternal grandfather, William Burr; two brothers: Tollie Rowell and Brandon Parker; two sisters: Angela Simpson-Parker and Carla Rowell; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Marilyn Phillips; and the beloved family pet, Herbie.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, October 25, 2018, from 6:00-7:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.

Following the visitation, a celebration of life will be held at 7:00 PM in the Chapel with Rev. Rick Foreman officiating.
