Jeanne Brooks, age 57, of Lumberton, NC died on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Scotland County, NC on June 22, 1952 to James Hector and Annie Elizabeth Lowery Brooks. She worked in textiles as a knitter.

Ms. Brooks is survived by her mother, Annie Elizabeth Brooks and four brothers, Joseph Brooks, James Randy Brooks, Henry Clayton Brooks and Willie Von Brooks. They are all from Lumberton, NC

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Riverside Church of God in Lumberton with Rev. Lesaundri Hunt, Rev. Kenneth Hunt and Rev. Rodrick Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Lumbee Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be on Wednesday evening, June 16, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
