Jean Tedder Johnson, 93 years old, passed away peacefully at her home on April 30, 2024. Jean was born on August 23, 1930 in Fairmont, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar (Tiny) Johnson; a son, Timothy Edgar Johnson; her parents, Jack and Francis Tedder; a sister, Dallas Faulk; three brothers: Gilbert Tedder, Hilton Tedder, and Sam Tedder; and many good friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Peggy (Greg) Malinsky from Fairmont, N.C. and Fran Coleman from Wilmington, N.C.; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; five nephews and three nieces; and her beloved dog, Teddy.

She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Fairmont, N.C. She enjoyed being with family and friends, playing bridge and bingo, and going to the beach. She loved cooking and baking for shut-ins, families that had lost loved ones, or just to brighten someone's day.

A graveside service will be held at Floyd Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, May 4th at 1:00 pm. Family will receive after the graveside service.
