Mr. Julian "JD" Daniel Parker, Jr., age 79, of St. Pauls, NC, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. He was born October 1, 1941 in Robeson County, NC.  He was employed by Burlington Industries for 47 years.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Rae Parker; his parents, Julian D. and Tessie Parker; along with four sisters and a  brother.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce B. Parker; three daughters: Elisha A. Parker, Shiela R. Parker, Heather D. Freeman (Mathew Lemons,  Sr.), all from St. Pauls, NC; a son, Marcus Martin (Kayla Greene) of Holden Beach, NC; a sister, Joyce Henson; and two  brothers, James Parker (Donna Parker) and David Parker.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Gavin Freeman, Cemile Hasirci, Magnus Freeman, Phineas Freeman, Mathew Lemons, Jr., and Macelynn Martin, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Rozier Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC on Monday February 22, at 2pm. with Rev. Robert Peltz, Rev. Terry Gardner, and Rev. Elton Ross, Jr. officiating.
