??JD? Odom, 78, of 416 Highland Avenue, died Wednesday, May 21,
2008 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was born to the late Willie and
Vertie Thompson Odom on October 22, 1929 in Hoke County.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lois Odom of the home; his son, Buddy
Odom of Bradenton Beach, FL; 2 sisters, Vergie Bisbee and husband, Andy of
Keystone Hgts. FL and Jane Maddox of Kathleen, GA; 2 grandchildren, Chris
Odom of Hubert, NC and Michelle Odom of Lynchburg, SC; and 3 great
grandsons, Matthew Odom, Jonathan Odom and Zander Norris.
The funeral service will be Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Floyd Memorial Chapel
at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Little and Dr. Russell Cherry officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 23, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Floyd
Mortuary & Crematory, Inc.
