In Loving Memory of Jason (J.J.) Andrew Locklear
October 30, 1979 – November 1, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason (J.J.) Andrew Locklear, who departed this life on November 1, 2026, at the age of 47.
Jason was born on October 30, 1979, in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, to the late James (Jimmy) David Locklear and Barbara Carol Locklear.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Frankie E. Locklear of St. Pauls, North Carolina; his stepson, Kenny Allen; and his stepdaughter, Cheyenne Bilodeou of St. Pauls, North Carolina.
Jason was someone who was heard and loved deeply. To know Jason was to love him. He had a love for his family and friends that ran deep. Those closest to him knew the special place they held in his heart. He will be remembered for the love he shared, the memories he created, and the lives he touched along the way. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love he gave will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
He also leaves behind two brothers, James Calvin Locklear (wife Angela Locklear) of Tennessee and James Robert Locklear of Tennessee; and one sister, Barbara Jean Locklear, lovingly known as his "Lil Sidekick," of Tennessee.
He leaves behind five nephews and one great-nephew, who brought him great joy.
Two special friends who held a special place in his heart were Tonya Freeman, lovingly known as "Big Sis," and Ricky Jones.
Jason will also be lovingly remembered by several aunts, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Though his journey on this earth has ended, the love he shared and the memories he leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
To know him was to love him. He will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
