Mrs. Janice Pittman Lewis, age 78, of Lumberton, passed away on June 6, 2020 at Lumberton Health and Rehab in Lumberton. She was born in Bladen County on January 29, 1942 to the late Graham Pittman and the late Pearl Mercer Pittman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Tony G. Lewis; two brothers, Ernest Pittman, and Jimmy Pittman; and two sisters, Glenda Taylor and Rachel Eden.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, George W. Lewis; one daughter, Kimberly Lewis; one son, Cary Lewis and wife Lisa; two sisters, Joyce Evans and Marilyn Williford; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at Antioch Baptist Church in Lumberton with Rev. Keith Eggert officiating.
