Mr. James Cole "Jamie" Suggs, age 41, of Chesapeake, VA, formerly of Fairmont, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, VA.  He was born on November 26, 1979 in Horry County, SC to the late Gary Dale Suggs, Sr. and to Delta Floyd Atkinson.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Dale Suggs, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Pope and Jean Floyd; his paternal grandparents, James and Margaret Suggs and his maternal great-grandparents, Edwin and Catherine Walters.

Jamie is survived by wife, Margie Suggs, of the home; his daughter, Mary Catherine Suggs, age 11, of the home; his son, Gary Reese Suggs, age 9, of the home; and his mother, Delta Floyd Atkinson (Ray) of Fairmont.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021, at 10:00AM at Walters Family Cemetery, 4639 S. Creek Road in Orrum, NC, with Rev. Jason Fairfax officiating.
