James Thomas Williams, age 74, of Lumberton, formerly of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. He was born on March 25, 1938 in Kingsport, TN to the late George Williams and the late Gertrude Waller Williams. He served in the United States National Guard and he retired from Sellers Manufacturing Company.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Parrish Williams, of the home; one stepson, Tony Parrish, of Lumberton; two daughters, Terry Capps, of Mebane, and Tina Long, of Swepsonville; and three grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memory Gardens. Burial will follow.

A time of visitation will follow the Graveside Service at the home of Mrs. Sheila Williams, 1401 McArthur Street, Lumberton.
