Mr. James William "Bill" Morris, age 81, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Dillon, SC on September 3, 1942 to the late Coy Morris and the late Omega Hayes. He was an electrician for many years until his retirement.

Bill was an avid Carolina fan and loved to watch his beloved Tar Heels play any chance he got.

He is survived by his wife, Margelene "Margie" Morris of the home, as well as several extended family members and loved ones.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Chip Bass and Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.
