James Everett Wester, age 81, of Fairmont passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017.

Mr. Wester was born February 17, 1936 in Robeson County to the late James Daniel Wester and Foy Barnes Wester.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Riley Wester; a son Ricky J. Wester and a brother, Aubrey Wester.

He is survived by two brothers, William "Bill" Wester (Sue) of Ocean Isle, NC and Charles "Chuck" Wester (Linda) of Fairmont; special nephews, Scott Wester (Dana), and Darren of Fairmont.

A Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00pm in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont.

Family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
