Mr. James Cary Sealey, 84, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023. He was born in Robeson County, NC on August 20, 1938 to the late James Allen & Geneva Prevatte Sealey. The most important thing in his life was his love for his family. He served in the U.S. Army as Military Police. He worked for 50 years at the Fairmont ABC Store as manager, retiring at 80 years old.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Sealey.

He is survived by his son, Mark Sealey of Fairmont, NC; his daughters, Paula Wheeler and husband Richie and Lisa Smith and husband Ernie, both of Fairmont, NC; his grandchildren: Travis, Ryan, Hannah, Page, and Grayson; his brother, Ronnie Sealey and wife Debbie of Tar Heel, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Cemetery, 1591 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC, with Pastor Joe Grice officiating.
