Mr. James Harvey Scott, age 43, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020. He was born in Robeson County, NC, on March 19, 1977.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Alton Scott, Sr., a brother, Jimmy Ray Scott; and his fiancée, Cheryl Lynn Locklear.

He is survived by his mother, Jackie Thompson of Lumberton, NC; a son, Quenton Scott of Rowland, NC; two daughters, Whitney Scott and Jenna Scott, both of Rowland, NC; a brother, James Alton Scott, Jr. of Pembroke, NC; two sisters, Jacqueline Norton of Fairmont, NC and Tiffany Locklear of Pembroke, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Oxendine Cemetery.
