Mr. James 'Jimmy' Robert Obershea, age 59, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Cape Fear Health Systems in Fayetteville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 3:00PM at Fair Point Freewill Baptist Church in Fairmont.

Burial will follow in Walters Family Cemetery

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

He was born May 16, 1957 Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Harold Obershea and Teddy Frances Walters Obershea; his wife, Lisa Ann Ivey Obershea.

He is survived by two sons, James Forrest Obershea and wife, Terri of Fairmont and Christopher Ryan Leggett of Charlotte; a brother, Patrick Keith Obershea and wife Diane of Fairmont; one sister, Deborah Nance Griffin and husband, Jimmie of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Margo Hunt, Halen Hunt, Hollie Francis Obershea and Mackenzie Jo Obershea.
