Mr. James "Wayne" Pittman, age 74, of Fairmont passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at his home in Fairmont, NC.

He was born on June 13, 1943 in Robeson County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Silas Pittman and Bessie Rhodes Pittman.

He was a past master of Fairmont Masonic Lodge #528.

He is survived by his wife Maxie Rogers Pittman of the home; one son, James Wayne Pittman Jr. of New York; two daughters, Julie Pittman Hodges (Jim) of Fairmont, and Kristie Williams of Greenville, NC; two sisters, Shirley Jones (Don) of Flat Rock, NC and Cathey Pate (John) of Columbia, SC; one sister-in-law, Miriam Wilson (Scott) of Austin, TX; and two grandchildren, Hamilton and Matt Hodges of Fairmont and his beloved pet, Penny.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 3:00PM at Centerville Baptist Church.

Visitation will be prior to the services from 1:30PM to3:00PM at Centerville Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
