Mr. James Norwood McNair, age 72, of Fayetteville, departed this life on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born in Robeson County on November 24, 1940. He was preceded in death by his father, Norwood Blount; his mother, Lillie Bell McNair Leggett; two sons, Kennard J. Faulk and Michael A. Faulk; two brothers, Nathaniel McNair and Michael Lee Leggett and a sister, Gloria Ann Leggett Ford. Mr. McNair is survived by his daughter, Yvette Faulk of Takoma Park, MD; his siblings, Dorothy Bell McNair of Brooklyn, NY, William Leggett, Jr. of Stoneville, NC, Linda Joyce Leggett Commodore of Brooklyn, NY, Brenda Joyce Leggett Haigler of Fayetteville, NC, Mildred Elizabeth Leggett of Lumberton, NC, and Angela Leggett of Fayetteville, NC.
