James Ray ??Yunkie? Locklear, age 49, of Lumberton passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Burnside Rehab Center in Burnsville. He was born on June 9, 1963 in Sebring, FL to Hubert Locklear and the late Pauline Epps Locklear.

In addition to his father, James is survived by his step-mother, Carolyn Locklear, of the home; two brothers, David Earl Locklear and Hubert Ray Locklear, both of Lumberton; four step-brothers, Jeffery Moody, of Lumberton, Robert Moody, of Moorestown, TN, Michael Moody, of Whiteville, and Chester Leach, of Georgetown, KY; one sister, Dolores Gomez, of Lumberton; four step-sisters, Pam Leach, of Lumberton, Deborah Bishop, of Lexington, KY, Tammy Leach of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Selena Kay Castillejos of Newberry, SC; and many nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will take place on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chris Locklear officiating.
