James Osburn Lancaster Jr, age 85, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 surrounded by family at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, N.C..He was born in Robeson County on February 1, 1933 to the late James Osburn Lancaster Sr. and Mary Young Lancaster. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a manager at FreshFoods Inc.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandchild Timothy J. Rice.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Lancaster, and three daughters; Angela L. Taylor, Robin L. Allen, and Jeanie L. Cox and husband Chris, all of Lumberton, N.C. three grandchildren; Cameron L. Taylor, Kevin Cox, and Chelsea D. Allen, and one great-grandchild Jordan Gilstrap.

A Celebration of Life will be a graveside service Monday, December 17, 2018, 3pm at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, N.C. with Rev. David Carrol officiating, visitation will follow the service at the home of Robin Allen, 509 East 19 ^th Street.
