James Berry Lamb, Jr. (Jay), age 59, of Shallotte, NC passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Grand Strand Hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on December 6, 1955 to the late James Berry Lamb, Sr., and Mary Britt Lamb. He worked as a manager for Advance Auto. Along with his father he was preceded in death by a grandchild, C.J. Otis. Mr. Lamb is survived by his mother, Mary Britt Lamb of the home; a daughter, Sonja Nicole Otis (Terrence) of Coats; a sister Cherri Ellen Kirk of Poca, WV; and one grandchild, Bella Otis. A visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robbie Stephens officiating. Burial will follow the service in New Hollywood Cemetery.
