James Caudell Johnson, Sr., age 90, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born May 4, 1931 in Robeson County, NC to the late Jack Johnson and Hazel Campbell Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, George Johnson, a brother, Larry Johnson, and a sister, Sandra Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is survived by two sons, James Johnson (Betty) of Bladenboro, NC and Mark Johnson of the home; a daughter, Wendy Johnson Britt (William) of Lumberton, NC; a brother, Wayne Johnson of Dillon, SC; three sisters: Barbara Atkinson of Lumberton, NC and Faye Arnette and Linda Smith, both of Dillon, SC; two grandchildren, Barry Stanley and Carrie Britt Jerigan; and one great-grandchild, Willow Grayce Jerigan.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Hamer Holiness Church in Hamer, SC. Following the visitation, a f uneral service will be held at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at White Pond Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairmont, NC.
