Mr. James Miller Hester, Jr., age 72, of Dublin, NC passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Bladen County.

He was born July 24, 1949 in Bladen County.

Mr. Hester was preceded in death by his parents, James Hester, Sr. and Margaret Dowless Hester; a sister, Delma Hester; two brothers, Bennie Hester and Jason Hester.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Oxendine Hester of the home; three daughters, Anita Phillips of Elizabethtown, NC, Laura Hester of Dublin, NC and Melissa Parrish and husband Junior of Mt. Olive, NC; a sister, Nettie Nelson and husband Vearl of Bladenboro, NC; six grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, NC.

A funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairmont, NC.
