James Michael Edwards, age 47, of Raleigh, NC died on Thursday, August 5, 2010. He was born in Frankfort, Germany on July 9, 1963 to James Albert and Marjorie Rae Britt Edwards. He worked as an auto service manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marjorie Edwards.

Mr. Edwards is survived by a son, John Warren Edwards of Red Springs, NC; a daughter, Olivia Rae Edwards of Red Springs, NC; three sisters, Josephine Edwards Fowler of Lumberton, NC, Sandra Stevens of Fairmont, NC and Nichole Davis of Lumberton, NC; special uncle, Nash Edwards; his girlfriend, Heike Tornow of Raleigh, NC; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 5:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton with Rev. Tony Stevens officiating. Visitation will follow the services in the chapel.
