James Brice \\"JB\\" Dudney, 82, of Lumberton, NC died on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born in Columbus County, NC on March 25, 1927 to Troy Francis Dudney and Louette Watts Dudney. Mr. Dudney worked for the Pepsi Cola Company in Lumberton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 58 years, Barbara Jeanette Teal Dudney.

Mr. Dudney is survived by six sons, Brice Dudney and wife, Cathy, James Ray Dudney and wife, Sandra, Jerry Dudney and wife JoAnn, Eddie Dean Dudney and wife, Gail, Perry Dudney and wife, Nancy, and Phil Dudney, all of Lumberton, NC; one daughter, Nancy Sanderson and husband, Wayne of Hope Mills, NC; one brother, Lloyd Dudney of Lumberton, NC; three sisters, Elease Holder of Fayetteville, NC, Shirley Butler of Chadbourn, NC and Etta Mae Brewer of Lexington, NC: fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the East Lumberton Church of God with Reverend Bruce Brumfield and Wayne Sanderson officiating. Burial will be at the Garden of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 13, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
