Mr. James A. "Barney" Bornn, age 78, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton. He was born on May 18, 1934 to the late Jose Bornn, Jr. and the late Ruth Barber Bornn in Port Washington, NY. He served in the US Navy and was formerly employed as a writer for IBM. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Mary J. Russell, of the home; his son, Peter James Bornn, of Averill Park, NY; his daughter, Barbara Bornn Lampkin, of Flower Mound, TX; and eight grandchildren.
