James David Blake, 79, of Lumberton, NC, died 22 January 2013 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. He was born 19 November 1933 in Lumberton. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Blake; his mother, Pearl Prevatte Blake; a daughter, Lorelei; and a son, John. He is survived by his wife, Marlene, of 51 years; a son, David and his wife, Claudia; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Atkinson; two brothers-in-law, Leslie Braker and his wife, Rita and Gene Tew and his wife, Gayle. His viewing will be Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 450 Liberty Hill Drive, and the funeral will follow at 12:30 PM, Pres. John Ricks conducting. Burial will follow the service at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
