Jackie Marie McLamb, age 40, of Chesapeake, VA was tragically taken from us on Saturday, July 1, 2017.  She was born in Norfolk, VA on November 30, 1976 to David "Ricky" and Joan Russ McLamb.  She graduated with the Class of 1994 at Deep Creek High in Chesapeake, VA.   She loved her family and friends with all her heart.  God decided that He needed a left fielder on His heavenly softball team.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lorene Sealey McLamb of Lumberton.

Ms. McLamb is survived by her parents; a brother, David "Richie" McLamb of Mary Esther, FL; her grandmother, Eva Davis Russ of Lumberton; and a host of family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. Clifton Jarvis officiating.  Burial will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton.
