Jack Williams, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Jack Williams, Jr., age 79, of Lumberton, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. He was born on June 7, 1932 in Robeson County to the late Jack and Pearl Williams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Wilma S. Williams and five sisters, Belle, Betty, Creola, Dorothy and Ruth.
Mr. Williams is survived by one son, Thomas Williams and wife, Deborah of Lumberton, NC; one daughter, Debbie Rhodes and husband, Kenny of Lumberton, NC; one brother, Horace Williams and wife, Jane of Locus, NC; a special friend, Ola Hall of Lumberton, NC; three grandchildren, Jimmy Rhodes, Joshua Williams and Kendra Rhodes and one great-granddaughter, KarLeigh Freeman.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 3:00PM at West Lumberton Baptist Church in Lumberton with Rev. Glenn Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.
A visitation will be held at the church prior to the service at 1:30PM on Friday.
