Jack Edwards, age 80, of Florence, SC died on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at his home.  He was born in Lumberton, NC on July 3, 1936 to the late Elwood Solomon Edwards and the late Ella Mae Prevatte Edwards.  He previously was the owner/operator truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herbert, Woody, Billy, and Gene Edwards; and a son Danny Jack Edwards.

Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Edwards of the home; son Timothy Edwards of Florence, SC; daughter, Wrenda Seigler of Florence, SC; brothers, Tommy Edwards (Kaye) of Rockwell and Larry Edwards of Lumberton; sisters, Mary Ellen Taylor and Shelby Baxley both of Lumberton; grandchildren, Christi Seigler, Jackie Seigler, Amie Edwards, and Timothy "Jake" Edwards; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Dennis, Haighleigh Chapman, Eathon Chapman, Bryleigh Ham, and Timothy Edwards, Jr.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.  A graveside service will be held following the visitation at New Hollywood Cemetery at 3:30 PM with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.
