Jack Douglas "Doug" Dew, age 63, of Pembroke, NC died on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC.  He was born in New Hanover, NC on March 21, 1954 to the late Joe R. and Donnie Wethington Dew.  He was a self-employed sheetrock contractor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bonnie Dew.

Mr. Dew is survived by his daughters, Breahna Dew Oxendine (Thomas) of Chase City, VA, and Britney Dew of the home; a brother, Joe "Buster" Dew of Maxton; and sisters, Virginia "Jenny" Presson of Wilmington and JoAnn Dew of Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Harpers Ferry Boat Landing, 1549 Harpers Ferry Road in Pembroke with Rev. James Albert Hunt officiating.  A time for visitation will follow the memorial service at the boat landing.

In lieu of flowers you are requested to bring your fishing pole to the river.
