Iula Jones Hunt, age 66, of Fairmont passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel at 2:00PM with Revs. Jimmy Hunt and Tracy Locklear officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 7-9PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Ms. Hunt was born February 16, 1948 in Robeson County. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Jones; a son Billy Jerome Hunt; a sister, Linda Hunt. She is survived by her mother, Loretta Jones of Fairmont; one daughter, Shirlene Hunt Crowl of Hickory; four brothers, Bud Jones of Fairmont, Stanley Jones of Texas, Earl Jones, Jr. of Tabor City, and Barney Jones of Bladenboro; three sisters, Cloris Hunt of Fairmont, Nancy Jacobs of Rowland and Denise Lewis of Fairmont; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
