Ithama Lane Ivey, 90 of Proctorville, NC went to her eternal resting place in Heaven with her Heavenly Father on February 18, 2015 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 3:OOPM at Proctorville Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ivey Family Cemetery in Orrum. Visitation will be Saturday, February 21, at Proctorville Baptist Church from 1:30PM until 3:00PM. She was born on July 24, 1924 to Oscar Kelly Lane and Blanche Elizabeth Suggs Lane. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Ivey and daughter, Phyllis Ivey Gray; ten brothers and sisters also preceded her in death. She is survived by daughter Peggy Ivey Jacobs and husband Bobby Sr. of Wilmington, NC; son, Hubert Lane Ivey and wife Ann of Orrum, NC; seven grandchildren, Terri Jacobs (Seth), Sharon Collins (Mark), Leslie Fuller (Carl), Chris Gray (Renee), Tuck Ivey (Sandra), Shane Jacobs (Stacy), and Jason Ivey; step grandson, Bobby Jr. (Heather); brother Douglas Lane (Virginia),; brother-in-law, JC Strickland; sister-in-law, Peggy Lane; sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild . She is also survived by many nieces and nephews from the Lane and Ivey families who loved her dearly. "Go Rest High On That Mountain", Mother, we love you more than words can ever say!!
