Issac Walter Reynolds, age 87, of Fairmont, NC passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Angel House, in Whiteville, NC surrounded by his family. I. W. was born in the Allenton Community of Robeson County, NC on February 20, 1938 to the late Elisha Lonzo Reynolds and Kaite Lee West Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his, wife; Edna Seals Reynolds, daughter; Susan Lawson, brother; Tony Reynolds and sister; Linda Rogers.

I. W.'s family moved to a farm in the Marietta Community of Robeson County soon after he was born. Despite the fact that I. W. had to drop out of school to help his family tend the farm he never lost his love for farming and being outdoors. He sought other ways to continue learning and growing in knowledge. In his free time, I.W. enjoyed fishing in local ponds. I. W. attended Fair Bluff Church of God when his health allowed. He retired from Kayser-Roth Manufacturing after many years working in the Dye Department.

I.W. is survived by his daughters; Shirley Reynolds, of Fairmont, NC, Betty Kinlaw and husband, Keith, Rosie Townsend, Gerline Gibson and husband, James all of Lumberton, NC, son; James Peterson, son-in-law; Carl Lawson, sisters; Brenda Bryant of Clarkton, NC, Barbara Martin, Chesapeake, VA, 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
