Mrs. Ina Sue Smith Odum, age 80, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020, at Lumberton Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Robeson County, NC on March 28, 1939 to the late Joseph P. Smith and the late Ina Bass Smith. She was formerly employed with Elkay Southern Corporation for many years.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Roscoe Odum, and a sister, Snead Guyton.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Allen and wife Angie and Larry Allen and wife Debra, all of Lumberton, NC; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wade Hamp Smith of Jacksonville, FL and Joseph Murray Smith of Raleigh, NC; and one sister, Elizabeth Allen of Bladen County, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Tim Tyner officiating. Following the burial, the family will receive friends at the graveside.
