Ida M. Walters Ivey, age 85, of Lumberton, NC died on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on June 12, 1931 to the late Giles Leo and Dollie Strickland Walters.  She and her husband were proprietors of Robert D. Ivey Plumbing & Piping.  She was a life-long member of West Lumberton Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ivey is survived by her husband, Robert Ivey, Sr. of the home; a son, Robert Ivey, Jr. (Sandi) of Lumberton; Judy Ivey Kissam (Mayo) of Albuquerque, NM, and Rene Ivey of Winston-Salem; sisters, Diane Hardin of Lumberton, and Faye Phillips (Doug) of Boston, MA; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A time for visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Rev. David Hawes and Rev. Rick Foreman officiating.
