Ida Carol Spivey Thompson, age 66, of Lumberton passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.

She was born October 11, 1958 in Robeson County to the late James Spivey and the late Nellie Arnette Spivey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Dale Kilpatrick.

She is survived by her companion of 26 years, Willie (Charlie) Taylor; two sisters, Emmie Marie Denning (Philip) of Erwin, NC and Tammy Hicks of Hickory, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 1:00-2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont.

A graveside service will follow at 2:30PM in the Arnette Family Cemetery on Mitchell Road, (intersection of Iona Church Road and Mitchell Road, Fairmont).
